IM Injections

Intramuscular Injections

Intramuscular injections, often referred to as IM injections, are incredibly useful for wellness. Injecting nutrients directly into the muscle allows for more effective absorption and increased bioavailability. IM injections also allow clients to enjoy positive results much more quickly than they would when taking supplements orally.

These injections are typically given in the deltoid (upper arm) or gluteal (upper buttocks) areas.

What’s the difference between IV therapy and IM Injections?

Both IV therapy and IM injections can have major health benefits, but they have some important differences. One of them is the amount of time that the nutrients take to absorb into the bloodstream– with an IV, the distribution is almost instantaneous, while an IM injection’s absorption is more gradual for sustained results.

IM injections also tend to be simpler– both to formulate and to administer– which means that the process takes less time and costs less money.
